KAPE Boatworks was incorporated in Mississauga, Ontario in 2013.  It is a partnership comprised of Karen-Ann Xavier and Paula Stone.  Karen-Ann is a long-time volunteer with the Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario (Toronto) and Paula with the Quebec Adapted Sailing Association (AQVA-Montreal).  The boats are being built in Mirabel, Quebec by Yves Sansoucy former builder of the Mystère catamaran that was popular around the world in the 1980's.   Karen-Ann and Paula have worked closely with Yves to make a number of improvements to the boat based on their combined experience.
